Set in New York City during the Great Depression, a cynical newspaper reporter is assigned to cover a string of high-profile murders. What starts as a routine investigation soon reveals a twisted connection between the city’s wealthy elite and an underground crime syndicate. As the body count rises, the reporter must risk everything to expose the truth—before the killer silences him for good.
