01
Who we are
JZ Creates is a creative production studio operated by JZ Creates LLC, a California company. In this policy, “JZ Creates”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean JZ Creates LLC. “You” means anyone who visits jzcreates.com, gets in touch with us, or works with us.
This policy covers our website, our contact and booking forms, our newsletter, and the way we handle information when you reach out about a project. Work we do for clients is also covered by the agreement we sign with each client.
02
What we collect
Information you give us
- When you contact us or book a call: your name, email address, phone number, company, website, budget range, and whatever you tell us about your project.
- When you join our newsletter: your name and email address.
- When you use the chat on our site or email us: the contents of your messages and your contact details.
- When you become a client: billing details, project files, brand assets and feedback you share with us so we can deliver the work.
Information collected automatically
When you browse the site, our analytics and advertising tools record things like your IP address, browser and device type, approximate location (city or region, not your exact address), the pages you view, how long you stay, and the site that sent you here. Most of this is collected through cookies and similar technologies, explained in section 04.
Information from other places
If you interact with us on Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn or YouTube, those platforms may share basic information with us, such as your public profile name and your message. Advertising platforms also give us aggregated reports about how our ads perform. These reports do not identify you personally.
03
How we use it
- To reply to your inquiry, schedule calls and send proposals.
- To plan, produce and deliver client projects, and to invoice for them.
- To send our newsletter and updates you signed up for. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To understand which pages and content people find useful, so we can improve the site.
- To measure and improve our advertising, including showing our ads to people who have visited the site.
- To keep the site secure and filter out spam and abuse.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations, and to protect our rights if there is a dispute.
04
Cookies and tracking
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Some keep the site working. Others help us measure traffic or show you relevant ads. These are the third-party tools that run on our site today:
| Tool | Provider | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager | Measures visits, page views and how people move through the site. | |
| Meta Pixel | Meta (Facebook, Instagram) | Measures our ads and lets us show ads to people who have visited the site. |
| Google AdSense | Shows ads on our articles. Google may personalize these based on your browsing. | |
| Forms, booking and chat | HighLevel (LeadConnector) | Powers our contact form, discovery call booking, newsletter sign-up and site chat, and stores the details you submit. |
| YouTube embeds | Plays our videos inside the page. YouTube may set cookies when a player loads or when you press play. | |
| Google Fonts | Delivers the typefaces the site uses. Google receives your IP address when the fonts load. |
Your cookie choices
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, though some embedded content may not.
- Opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
- Control Google ad personalization at Google Ad Settings, and Meta ads in your Meta ad preferences.
- Opt out of interest-based ads from many companies at once through YourAdChoices.
Do Not Track
Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no common standard for how websites should respond to it, so our site does not currently change its behavior when it receives one. The choices above are the most reliable way to limit tracking.
05
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only in these situations:
- Service providers who help us run the business, such as our website host, our CRM and booking platform, our email provider, analytics and advertising platforms, payment and accounting tools, and the AI production tools that process the files and prompts we use to create client work. They may only use your information to provide their service to us.
- Collaborators on your project, such as freelance editors, animators or producers, when they need it to do the work. They are bound to keep it confidential.
- Professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers, when needed.
- Legal reasons, when the law requires it or to protect our rights, our clients or the public.
- A business change, such as a merger or sale of the business, in which case your information would stay protected by this policy.
06
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the reasons in this policy. In practice, inquiries that don’t turn into a project are kept for up to three years after our last conversation, client records are kept for as long as the law requires for tax and accounting (usually seven years), and newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is kept according to each provider’s own retention settings.
07
Keeping it safe
Our site runs over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and we limit access to personal information to the people who need it to do their work. No website or online service can be guaranteed 100% secure, so please avoid sending passwords, payment card numbers or other highly sensitive details through our forms or chat.
08
Your choices and rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you and send you a copy.
- Correct information that is wrong or out of date.
- Delete your information, unless we need to keep it for legal or accounting reasons.
- Stop sending you marketing emails. You can also use the unsubscribe link in any email.
To make a request, email info@jzcreates.com. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on it, and we will respond within the time the law allows, usually within 30 to 45 days. We will never treat you differently for exercising your privacy rights.
09
California residents
If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) gives you the rights listed in section 08, plus the following:
- Right to know the categories of personal information we collect, where it comes from, why we use it and who we share it with. Those are described in sections 02 to 05 of this policy.
- Right to opt out of “sharing”. We don’t sell personal information for money. California law may treat advertising cookies such as the Meta Pixel and Google ads as “sharing” for targeted advertising. You can opt out using the cookie choices in section 04, or email us with “Do not sell or share my information” and we will honor it.
- Right to limit the use of sensitive information. We do not ask for or use sensitive personal information as defined by California law.
- Shine the Light. We do not share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.
You can also use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We may ask the agent for proof that you gave them permission.

Visitors outside the US
We are based in the United States, and the information we collect is stored and processed here and wherever our service providers operate. Data protection laws in the US may differ from those where you live.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on these legal bases: your consent (for our newsletter and marketing emails), steps needed before or under a contract with you (for inquiries and client work), our legitimate interests in running, measuring and improving our business (for analytics, advertising measurement and security), and legal obligations. You also have the right to object to or restrict certain processing, to data portability, to withdraw consent at any time, and to complain to your local data protection authority.
11
Children
Our site and services are meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us their information, email us and we will delete it.
12
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our tools and services change. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we will make it clear on the site or let you know by email.
Links on our site may take you to other websites, such as social platforms or partners. Their privacy practices are their own, so please review their policies.
